Now fades the glimm’ring landscape on the sight

Hurrah! My camera has finally arrived so hopefully this will be the beginning of a great habit – therapeutic photography! It’s a Canon EOS Digital Rebel XSi with the basic lens kit. I’ve always read a lot about photography and I think now it’s time to put theory into practice! I love my point-and-shoot, but this will be fun! Just waiting on my SD card (en route from San Francisco) and my camera bag (en route from Ontario).

The other day, my boss and I bonded over shared experiences as older siblings. I’m a little sad that my term ends on April 30 but I’m pleased she’s hopefully going to get to do what she’s wanted to do for so long. I’ve already handed in my resume to take her position after she leaves; but I don’t know how that’s going to work out with my co-op application…we’ll see how this turns out.

I really need to catch up on readings and I will start my ENGL 357 paper this week! Having an extension is no excuse to start later than originally planned. Shame that I won’t be needing to take any more chemistry lab courses – I was beginning to really enjoy them. Ah well.

I have the greater urge for tea again. And Thai food. But not together – I like a spot of tea while doing homework and I like Thai in general.
